Frequently asked questions (FAQ).
Q: What is the warranty on your products?
A: All products are covered by the minimum European warranty of 2 years. This warranty is limited for some devices like Speakers and Amplifiers as they can become overloaded.
Q: How should I handle/use a speaker?
A: Speakers are very simple things. They will never get damaged by normal use. Some parts like the woofer can wear out over the years the speaker is used. Other parts like the tweeter will hardly ever wear out. However, care should be taken not to overload speakers. The warranty on overloaded speakers is void.

Q: How can I avoid overloading of a speaker?
A: The easiest way is by never overpowering a speaker. The maximum a speaker can handle can be determined by ear. Put yourself in between your speakers, at a safe distance. Turn the volume up until you hear some distortion in the speakers. The speakers start to sound unclear, cracking sound may appear out of the woofer or the tweeter. As soon as you hear the slightest distortion turn down the volume as the distortion is the main reason why a speaker breaks down. Always have a safety margin between your maximum speaker volume and the distortion level since there might be peaks hat could damage the speaker as well.
Be careful with amplified outputs (PCs, MP3 playes,
) as their output volume might be higher then the normal audio signal. If you feed a to high signal into a amplifier distortion will happen and the life of your speaker might be dramatically shortened.

Q: Can I use only 1 input channel (Left or Right) of an amplifier.
A: NO, both channels should ALWAYS be used. If you have only one channel (mono) use a splitter that turns the MONO signal into a stereo one (two times mono). Using only one channel will damage your amplifier. This is also necessary when using and amplifier in Bridge mode.

Q: Can I use only 1 output channel (Left or Right) of an amplifier.
A: NO, the output channels of an amplifier should always be equally loaded. No doing so will damage your amplifier.
